Are Daydream Wigs only available online or exclusively in studio?
We offer online assistance if you’re not local to the Wichita, KS area. We want you to love your piece and are able to help you choose the best fit for what you’re looking for.
We understand purchasing online can be difficult so please read the descriptions of the online listings as there is a lot of info on each piece. If a virtual consultation is something you’re interested in please click here to get scheduled. We are more than happy to help!
If you’re local to the Wichita, KS area or are willing to travel, you are welcome to come in person. Daydream Wig Studio is a private studio located inside of No Coast Salon. In the studio, you’re able to get a hands on experience with our creator, Brandi. We are able to discuss what you’re looking for overall and are able to try on wigs in person for the full experience. What kind of customizations can take place with each Daydream Wig?
At Daydream we are able to adjust each piece to your liking. Our customization options are, haircuts & adding bangs, de-bulking the piece, coloring to desired look, color refreshing, cap resizing. We are here to make any changes for your piece to feel the most you.
Our pieces already come pre cut in our signature cut which means it lays nicely to begin with, however, customizations are always an option to further create the best piece for you. Please note: if any customization is done to a piece, then it makes it final sale.
Do you recommend having a virtual consultation before purchasing a Daydream Wig?
Yes & no! If you’re a seasoned wig wearer, then you know the drill. However, we are always available to help you learn about our brand and wigs to help create the best relationships moving forward. If you are new to the wig world or just want to see what we have to offer then YES! We are able to show you our pieces and help answer any questions you may have about wig wearing. We understand there are many options out there & want you to feel comfortable choosing us!

Can we book a virtual consultation when our Daydream Wigs come in to help with styling and placement?
Yes of course! We want you to feel confident and comfortable in our pieces. Sometimes wearing hair pieces can be a learning curve so we are here to teach you the best way to wear pieces & educate you on wearing alternative hair. The more comfortable you are with hair pieces the more confident you will feel!
About the Wigs
What is the hair type of a Daydream Wig?
Daydream Wigs uses human hair type European or Brazilian. The hair type will be listed in the description of each piece. The hair is ethically sourced & is 100% human hair which means you’re able to color, cut & style to create your desired look.
What is a lace top Daydream Wig?
Lace top wigs come with extra long lace on the hairline, which will be cut upon purchase. The extra lace is to insure that the wig is new & has never been worn. The lace can be cut to individuals preference. Our wigs are glueless, which means they lay flat without having to glue the lace down & is the preferred technique. This makes them quick & easy to wear, however if you’re wanting to glue the lace down, that is definitely an option with our pieces.
Wigs are full coverage and cover the entire perimeter of your head. The lace top is a free part, meaning you’re able to part the wig wherever you desire in the lace section. The rest of the cap is constructed by wefts & clips. Wigs come in different sizes, so please refer to our measuring chart to know your correct sizing for the perfect fit.
What is a topper?
Toppers come in lace top or silk top. Toppers are made to blend with your bio hair & cover the top portion of your head. Each cap size will be listed in the description of each piece. Toppers are great for people who have bio hair and are able to secure the topper with clips & combs that are sewn into the cap of the topper.
How do I know what my Daydream Wig will look like in different lighting? Daytime? Bright light?
Please note that pieces can appear a different color in different lighting. We do our best to show the color in its true to tone. Please read the description of each piece in the listing as we describe the color or reach out if you have questions on coloring. Please note that different phone lighting or natural lighting will show different tones in each piece. You can always book a virtual consultation to see these pieces in action.
For custom Daydream Wigs do you base styles off of our inspiration photos?
For customized pieces, your inspiration photos are used as inspiration & might not replicate the photo 100% but we do the best of our ability to insure a beautiful piece and to communicate with you to create your desired look. Our creativity on our pieces is what makes us unique!
What does the term 'Return Hairs' mean?
Return hairs are shorter strands of hair resulting from hand-tied techniques used to knot the hair to the base of your cap. These hairs are completely normal and are not the same as damaged “split” or “broken” ends. These short hairs are easily concealed with light plucking, heat styling. You can also use hair spray, wax spray or pomade to lay them down.
How long will my Daydream Wig last?
The longevity of the hair piece is solely determined on how well it is taken care of by each individual. Human hair wigs & toppers can last anywhere from a 8 months to 2 years or longer depending on the everyday wear & tear of each piece. Taking care of your delicate piece is important and we recommend following our care instructions card that is delivered with each piece to protect your investment. Shipping & Returns
How long does it take to receive our Daydream Wig after ordering?
Please allow 2-4 business days after you have placed your order for your item to be shipped. It is our top priority to ship as quickly as possible because we understand the excitement. USPS is our shipping method and DHL for international orders. Shipments will be insured only at the request of and at the expense of the customer so please contact us in advance if this is something you’re wanting. You will receive tracking information as soon as your purchase has processed. If something unusual is showing on your tracking, please contact us.
What if the wig arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately at brandi@daydreamwigstudio.com if item defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
What is the Daydream Wig return policy?
Please contact us at brandi@daydreamwigstudio.com if you’re needing to return your purchase. Please provide your name and order number and from there you will be given further instructions. Our return policy states that all wigs and toppers are refundable unless stated otherwise. Returns must be in transit back to us within 3 days of receiving the item. The date begins on the day the carrier tracking states ‘delivered.’ The item must be returned in its original state with no alterations to the piece. If the piece has been modified in any way, the return will no longer be accepted. Return any accessory items that comes in the package. We are not responsible for any lost, damaged or error in the return. It is the buyers responsibility for the return package to arrive safely back to us.
Is anything not available for return?
Non returnable items include purchases that have been made using a discount code, presale item or any final sale items stated. Customized pieces are also non returnable. If any changes or add-on services are made to the piece such as haircuts or any alterations, this makes the item final sale and non refundable. If the lace has been cut or item is damaged, any visible wear or hair products used makes the item non returnable. In studio purchases are final sale. No exceptions.
What is your refund process?
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the piece to insure no alterations have been made. From there we will initiate the refund. There will be a flat rate $175 restocking fee automatically deducted from your refund total. A restocking fee is priced to cover any transaction fees and prepping the piece to be relisted for sale. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to state in your banking account. Any refund delays may be due to your financial banking institution and you must contact them directly.
